This medication requires a prescription from your doctor.

Minocycline 2% Mucoadhesive Gel Kit

Minocycline 2% is a mucoadhesive gel that is indicated as an adjunct to scaling and root planing procedures for reduction of pocket depth in patients with adult periodontitis. It is significantly more effective than scaling and root planing alone and may be used as part of a periodontal maintenance program which includes good oral hygiene and regular dental visits.

Each minocycline 2% gel kit comes packaged with two luer-lock syringes and coupling mechanism provided for mixing purposes. Click here for complete mixing instructions.

Note: Once the syringes are mixed together, minocycline 2% gel has an expiration date of 5 days. Before the syringes are mixed, they have an expiration date of 6 months. It is good practice to only mix medication that is needed immediately before using.

Dental Suppliers – Syringes and Flow Tips

Our pharmacy supplies one female-to-female luer-lock connector with every new order of minocycline 2% gel kits. You may decide to also order 1.2cc luer-lock syringes with flow tips for easier application of the gel and for dispensing into smaller dosages. The luer-lock connector allows you to use these syringes and flow tips.
