Estradiol 0.06% Transdermal Cream (0.75mg/0.5g Cream)
Alternative to EstroGel

A two-month supply of our estradiol transdermal cream is half the price of similar products that are available commercially.

Estradiol is a type of estrogen that is naturally produced in a woman’s body. Estradiol transdermal cream may be prescribed as part of hormone replacement therapy for women. It can help prevent hot flashes and reduce vaginal symptoms of menopause. The version we compound contains hormones derived from plant sources that are made to behave similarly to hormones that the body naturally produces.  Our product only needs to be used once per day and is delivered in an easy-to-use dispenser that accurately measures each dose.

Menopausal Symptoms Treated with Estradiol

Declining estrogen levels due to either a natural change in a woman’s body or to surgical interventions can lead to painful and uncomfortable symptoms. The symptoms that are most frequently felt by women when their estrogen levels decline are vasomotor symptoms. These are symptoms that involve temperature, including sudden strong feelings of heat and sweating. These hot flashes can be treated by restoring estrogen levels. Other symptoms of menopause may also improve with the use of estradiol transdermal cream. This includes vaginal atrophy, which is thinning, drying, and inflammation of the vaginal walls that results from declining estrogen levels.

Topical Administration of Estradiol

Topical administration of estradiol is recognized as the ideal method of delivery for this hormone. When estrogens are given orally, they are quickly metabolized and the actual bioavailability of the hormone is greatly diminished. The skin does not metabolize estradiol significantly, which results in a greater amount being available to produce therapeutic effects.
